High-temperature and heat-resistant steels are used in production of different parts for jet gas turbines that serve in aviation, fleet, as well as in petroleum industry, metallurgy etc.

Some alloys employed in aircraft industry have also found their application in other industries. The most high-temperature alloys are silicochromes and chromium-nickel steels used in production of inlet valves for piston engines and gas turbine blades for jet engines.
